UPDATES: Sara Pavan

I'm one of the founding members of Ernest, and the most important things I'm doing now are:

- writing a blasphemous novel about the return of Jesus on the earth (next sunday an extract): the plot is very simple, in 2012 the world won't finish, it's too soon for the Apocalypse, all the predictions in reality concerned the return of Jesus but when Jesus arrives no one cares of him nor belive he is really God. He tries using miracles and other cool stuff but without success. After repeating a sort of scene of the temple, against the new "merchants" of nowdays (the original in the Bible is Mt 21:10ss, Lc 11:15ss, Lc 19:45ss, Gv 2:13ss), Jesus falls in depression and tries to solve the problem of self esteem of his human part through psychotherapy, antidepressants, drugs, social networks and more. What in ancient time seemed to be a modern spirit reveals all his old fashioned attitude. But thanks to his new apostles and love he turns out to be, as usual, the coolest and smartest guy on earth! The first step to save the world is to save one's own soul! Lots of fun in writing. Hope it will be the same in reading;

- translating in english my thesis Habitat Olivetti: intellectuals and factory (1945-1960). To learn more about these epic adventures (Olivetti's rise and decay + my translation) follow my blog Habitat Olivetti or download the italian version here. It won't be less interesting than my blasphemous novel, even if you won't laugh, especially if you are italian, when you realize how big was the lost opportunity. But I'm sure it will be usefull 'cause the memory is the only chance we have not to make the same mistake again (Errare humanum est, perseverare autem diabolicum, et tertia non datur - Seneca).

Sono uno dei soci fondatori di Ernest, e le cose più importanti che sto facendo ora sono: - scrivere un romanzo blasfemo sul il ritorno di Gesù sulla terra (domenica prossima un estratto): la trama è molto semplice, nel 2012 il mondo non finirà, è troppo presto per l'Apocalisse, tutte le previsioni, in realtà, riguardavano il ritorno di Gesù, ma quando Gesù arriva a nessuno importa niente di lui, né crede che lui sia veramente Dio. Cerca con miracoli e altre trovate fighe ma senza successo. Dopo aver ripetuto una sorta di scena del tempio, contro i nuovi "mercanti" di oggigiorno (l'originale della Bibbia è Mt 21:10 ss, Lc 11:15 ss, Lc 19:45 ss, Gv 2:13 ss). Gesù cade in depressione e tenta di risolvere il problema della stima di sé della sua parte umana attraverso la psicoterapia, gli antidepressivi, le droghe, i social network e altro ancora. Ciò che in tempi antichi sembrava essere uno spirito moderno rivela tutto il suo essere bigotto. Ma grazie ai suoi nuovi apostoli e all'amore si rivelerà essere, come al solito, il tipo più figo e sveglio sulla terra! Il primo passo per salvare il mondo è salvare la propria anima! Mi diverto un sacco nello scrivere. Spero sarà lo stesso nel leggere; 
 - tradurre in inglese la mia tesi Habitat Olivetti: intellettuali e fabbrica (1945-1960). Per saperne di più su queste epiche avventure (ascesa e fallimento della Olivetti + la mia traduzione) basta seguire il mio blog Habitat Olivetti o scaricare la versione italiana qui. Non è meno interessante del romanzo blasfemo, anche se non fa ridere, soprattutto se si è italiani e ci si rende conto di quanto grande fosse l'occasione persa. Ma sono sicura che sarà utile perchè la memoria è l'unica possibilità che abbiamo per non ripetere lo stesso errore (errare humanum est, perseverare autem diabolicum, et tertia non datur - Seneca).
